About Kathryn

Kathryn’s practice is located in Flatiron near east Chelsea in Manhattan.

Originally from the East Coast, she spent most of her childhood in central Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her BA and MS in Economics before moving to Washington, DC for work. Kathryn was a research economist in international development for 10 years before coming to NYC, where she earned her MSW from Columbia University.

Kathryn has a direct but humorous style in the therapy room, and while she has a psychodynamic lens, often uses somatic and emotion-based therapies to create the perfect blend of modalities for each client.

Kathryn currently lives in Manhattan with her wife and their dog, Nala. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys staying active and can often be found with her nose in a book or her head in the sky.
